Whoever owns a Ferrari knows passion! That famous streamlined silhouette and the typical flame-red colour evokes passion wherever it appears. A Ferrari cruising effortlessly down the M1 attracts the passionate attention of other motorists, with envious glances, admiring comments and maybe some wishful thinking. Owning a Ferrari is living passion: being seated immersed in sophisticated Italian design whilst commanding all that power and speed is a passionate activity!
In 1929, Enzo Ferrari founded Scuderia Ferrari: a team of racing drivers whose passion and skill won races as the official Alfa Romeo racing team. In 1932, the famous prancing horse appeared and has been a symbol of speed and design ever since. Enzo Ferrari separated from Alfa Romeo and began manufacturing his own sports cars in the 1940s, but the business was hampered by the war, racing was suspended and the Ferrari headquarters at Maranello was bombed in 1944.
From the late 1940s, the flamboyant and powerful Ferrari dominated the world of sports-car racing. It had some set-backs in the 1980s, but brought home win after win with Schumacher in the 1990s. It is the most successful team in the history of Formula One racing. The production of sports cars for non-racing purposes began in 1949 with the production of the two-seater Gran Turismo; Ferrari fever started here, with aficionados of speed and style discovering paradise-on-wheels. Over the years, many Ferrari variations have been produced, including four-seater and convertible versions, from the Pininfarina Coupé to the famous Testarossa, to the latest state-of-the-art model simply called LaFerrari.
It is not surprising that Ferrari owners often get together to compare notes and share their passion. A drive in the country, a visit to a vineyard, a tour of local places of interest; weekends often witness a caravan of Ferraris making the rounds. Naturally, every pit-stop is devoted to discussions on speed, design, performance and even the buying and selling of Ferraris or other prestige sports-cars. Ferrari owners often like to update or change their vehicle. We can assist in this: we buy Ferraris and take care of all the paper-work, as well as the practical side, of selling your Ferrari.
